DingDingDangDang's space

Last week (Started on Jan 8th)was the first week for us at preschool. Mommy had talked so much about it-- the friends, the toys, the playground, the books and the teachers. They all sounded so good. In fact, we have been to the preschool so many times because mommy took us there once a week to attend a play group. You know what is the coolest thing? There is a HUGE train table in the hallway! We can play there all day long if we could. Of course, it is not that good for mommy. It usually took her 15 minutes to take us away from the train table.

Anyway, Jan 7th was the open house. Mommy and grandma took us to school to meet our teachers and our new friends. There were already some kids and their mommy. It was so cool to find out there is a REAL snake and a purple fish.  Of course, they are small, but we are small too. We really like the school. Dingding even found a comfortable place to lie down and read a book. Way awesome!!!!!!

Problem came the first day at school. Daddy dropped us at school in the morning. When he waved bye-bye, we didn't realize that we would be left alone there. We never left mommy's side since we were born. Dingding started to cry when he found out Daddy had left. He cried so hard that nobody could stop him. Ms Armbuster hold him and showed him our family picture--the one we took with mommy, daddy, grandma and grandpa in Austin. Other kids came up and looked at the picture. One of them asked Dingding " Is that your mommy?" Dingding nodded while he was still crying "Mommyyyyyyyy!". The picture finally comforted him. It made him feel that he was not alone. In fact he was definitely not alone, because Dangdang was with him all the time. Dangdang was not happy too, but he kept his tears. Good job! Dangdang! We still had pretty good time at school. When it was time to go home, Dangdang didn't keep his good record. As soon as he saw the train table in the hallway, he wouldn't leave. The teacher had to hold him and took him away. This made him so mad that he cried like a little angry tiger. Sign, crying doesn't work on the teacher, only mommy would take it seriously. Anyway, Dangdang expressed his anger again when he saw Daddy. He even lied down on the ground to cry. It confused grandma and grandpa for several days that it was Dangdang that cried in school.

That was the first day. Mommy was so busy that she just posted this blog that she wrote long time ago. Today is April 1st, 2008 --Fool's day. Interesting. Should we prepare something for mommy and daddy? :)

Mommy went back to work last Wednesday. We missed her during the day, but Grandma and Grandpa are with us all the time. We love Grandma and Grandpa so much and enjoy playing with them so much that we didn't think about Mommy's absence that much until she came back home. We expected her to bring trucks for us, sadly she didn't. That is the inconvenient thing of being a kid, you can't buy the toys you like. Otherwise it is great!

We went shopping on Saturday while Daddy said he would review papers at home. We had soup at Sam's club. It was ok, not our favorite. We found Daddy was sleeping when we came back home. Oh, lazy Daddy!

Grandma and Daddy competed in the Playdough Contest. Grandma made a dinosaur which looked like a turkey after she laughed at Daddy's doggy dinosaur. The winner was-----nobody!

Grandpa make meatball and tofu for dinner. It is Dangdang's favorite. Dangdang ate more than 8 meatballs until Grandma said " No more!" She was afraid that Dangdang's little stomach can't hold that much meatball. Grandma, don't worry, that is nothing for a super boy like Dangdang.

We helped Mommy putting down the Christmas tree. We were such good helpers. We pulled the Ornaments off the tree, though we did make some hangers off the ornaments too. It was no big deal. We pushed the tree round and round and round and round.... so Mommy can take off the lights. That was the coolest thing we did in a whole month, because it was absolutely prohibited before. Mommy said she can't finish the work without our help. We are VERY proud!!!!!!

When it was time for bed, Dingding said his butt smell good. Don't know where did he got the idea while he just pooped in the diaper. :P

During the weekend, we kissed each other 20 times, hugged each other 20 times. we made each other laugh hundreds times. we made fun of each other a hundred time, we fought 30 times, knocked each others heads 20 times, bit each other 6 times( most time we didn't success). We kissed Grandma 20 times, Grandpa 20 times, Mommy 20 times, Daddy 20 times. Wow, that was a lot of kisses!

It was a normal weekend. Oh, do you know what the best thing is? We are going to preschool this Tuesday! Can't wait!
